Sessions, Fees & Booking Information

All children are entitled to 15 hours (5 sessions) of funded childcare per week from the term after their 3^rd birthday. You may pay for extra sessions if required. Other funding may also be available such as 2-year-old funding, 30 hours funding (subject to eligibility, please check government guidance) Universal Credit, childcare vouchers, and Tax-Free Childcare. Sessions are booked for the whole term and payments are due half-termly in advance. Nursery fees are only charged during term-time, there are no charges during school holidays. Nursery fees are for a childcare place at Chestnut Nursery School, not attendance. If your child cannot attend for any reason, fees must still be paid.

A late payment fee of £10.00 per week will be applied if fees are not paid by the given date, if the account is still overdue by week 3 all paid sessions will be revoked, and the debt passed to Devon County Council.

Please ring Nursery if your child is unwell and will not be attending. If your child has been sick or had diarrhea, they will need to be kept off Nursery for at least 48 hours, if they have had a temperature, they will need to be off for 24 hours.

Your child must be collected by one of their contacts on the application form unless different arrangements have been made and staff have been notified.
